Robert A. Heinlein - Stranger In A Strange Land

This book ain't really sci-fi, it's Heinlein's commentary on the current human condition, but still quite compelling for all that.

Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen

Might I say that it was my own pride and prejudice that stopped me from reading this book earlier! I can't put it down! I would never go so far as to recommend it to a gentleman to read and will admit that it is very annoying in many parts. But at the same time, I am completely and utterly engrossed!

lol! Yeah, it's a very weird book. The dialogue is sooooo annoying, they get up to absolutely nothing, but somehow, I am really engrossed! I think it appeals to my feminine love of all things gossipy, but saying that makes me feel like I've betrayed everything I stand for! I only started reading it so that I would have grounds to say to my mother, "Yes I have read it and it's total crap". What is happening to me!?!?!?! :)

Just finished Dan Simmons' The Terror, and I really enjoyed it.

If anyone elected not to pick this one up because of The Time Traveler short story/essay, you are missing out on an exceptional novel.

To all you fans looking for quality stand-alone books, look no further. The Terror is what you need!
