Need some help sorting out my immediate TBR pile. I was considering adding a few series:
Sebastien De Castell's two Greatcoats books
James Corey's Expanse
I have heard a lot of hype about Corey, so does he live up to it? I have also heard a lot of good things about Castell.
I am also considering getting Elizabeth Moon's Deeds of Paksenarrion and Lois Bujolds Chalion series.
Would like to get some reactions on these two as well.
I enjoyed the Greatcoats books more than the Pax series (although I read the Pax series in the early 90s).
I read the first book in the Chalion series, it was very good. It's the opposite of the Greatcoats series in my mind. Greatcoats = swashbuckling action. Chalion = intrigue.
I am not familiar with James Corey, so can not comment.

“The others followed, and found themselves in a small, stuffy basement, which would have been damp, smelly, close, and dark, were it not, in fact, well-lit, which prevented it from being dark.”
