Tregellis is brilliant. He writes realistic characters and incorporates supernatural/sf into the story in a way that makes coherent sense and keeps the reader engaged (as in 'it's 2am oh, one more chapter...).

Seriously recommended and you totally don't need to wait for the third book. You're going to wish you had, but you don't have to.

If you believed me and others about the Dresdencrack, the coCaine or The Breach (note to self: need a clever drug analogy for that series), then believe me now, this is worth your dollars.

Read the first 50 pages of Dresden Storm Front and it's pretty kickass. Really liking this Dresden guy.

Finished King of Thorns and I am America (and so can you). Both were really good. Looking forward to Emperor of Thorns now, and I NEED more Colbert on audiobook...

Started a reread of The Illearth War (after how much I enjoyed the reread of LFB I've REALLY been looking forward to this), and started the audiobook for The Lie of Locke Lamora.

For me...there is an event in one chapter (33) that moves it from probably my 4th fave book of the series to the 3rd. So it goes 1. PROVEN GUILTY 2. DEAD BEAT 3. COLD DAYS....without the events including and after Chapter 33 it would have been on an even tie keel with CHANGES...but the final third of the book is JUST. SO. AWESOME. YOU. HAVE. NO. IDEA.

Got myself a copy of Orb Sceptre Throne at WH Smith the other day, and with 6 hours at the airport and some traveling to do I'm looking forward to delving into malazan stuff again. Haven't read any malazan since The Crippled God, so it's a refreshing feeling.

Lined up after that is Best Served Cold.
