I read part of a book of Marco's called The Eyes of God. I say part because I couldn't finish it- it was crap. The characters sucked, especially Akeela. And Lukien. And Cassandra. And...everyone else.
Also, the author's treatment of disabled children was unbelievably patronizing.

Thought I'd resurrect this topic from the Doldrems.
Currently reading "weavers of samaryr" part one.so so.
Finally got hold of a copy of "Blood Follows", so thats next.
Also reading a few comic collections "Sandman Mystery Theatre", "Shade the Changing Man" and "Lucifer".All good stuff. (some of the best writers currently working seem to be invloved in graphic story telling )
@ Fist .How did you find Warrior Prophet ?
@Morgoth. Enjoy PSS...a real treasure.

Last night I finished Titus Alone, and now that I'm done with Gormenghast I'm moving onto Jeff VanderMeer's City of Saints and Madmen.

Dont have time for reading t t'moment, cos I'm always doing something but when I get back t'motherland I will be restarting on MBOTF cos I have missed it - I read it for the first time at camp last summer, and this year I wished I could be reading it for the first time again, so I will be re-re-reading it!

The Trial by Franz Kafka and Hitler: 1889-1936 by Ian Kershaw.
@Topper - that is incredibly unfair on Eddings. You're reading one of the best epic fantasy novels (MoI) at the same time as one of the worst (Pawn of Prophecy) - I think that can only result in disappointment of the latter.

Just finished The Curious Incident With The Dog In The Night Time.
It's such a black comedy. It made me feel awful but laugh at the same time in places.

Roses are Red by James Patterson. I need to have a broad background in crime fiction by the time my Extension 1 English HSC exam rolls around, so I'm consuming whatever I can find. Man it sucks though.

Since my library is a bit on the slow side with getting me a copy of the Dark Tower I picked up It by Steven King. About a hundered pages in and loving it. Never read a story that is this tense before.
