During the vision/dream/wandering in which Udinaas is treated to the vision of the "betrayal" he witnesses Silchas' empty scabbards. Later in the same scene there is reference to shards that were shattered, now gathered, and folded over and over on each other... I don't have a reference as I am at work (Vaiski?)... There is then a question as to what these shards are intended for.
Does anyone else think that these shards are the base material that the CG has provided Withal to make Rhulad's sword? Irony (and a bad pun) if the shattered remnants of Silchas' weapons are reunited to form Rhulad's weapon. Would fit though... the weapons shattered, fallen and ruined, then sembled together to bring chaos. Sounds like the CG to me.
Thoughts?

Not sure how the irony fits in Clu but I think at least one of Silchas' invested weapons was shattered by a K'Chain CheMalle Matron's death cry. ..unless you mean that Silchas' shattered weapon is reforged into the bane of the Edur. Dunno....I wondered if the shards came from the dagger Scabandari used to betray Silchas- that seems more ironic. You could be right though. I'm also curious about that arrowhead and what Wither (or what's his name) plans to do with it.

Only had one cup of coffee in me at the time of posting MO. Sorry if I wasn't clear... I did mean that Silchas' weapons had been reforged as Rhulad's sword. The irony I was referring to was that Silchas' weapons were now being wielded as the CG's gift to Rhulad.

The shards of silchas's swords are embedded in the blade of Rhulads sword, wither forged teh sword around them. The magic in thsoe fragments has something to do with how Rhulad gained control over so many andii spirits.

Bow to IH. Withal did the forging did he not? Wither being the Andii spirit in communication with Udinaas...

Argh same here... I thought Wither was Withal the first time I read MT... I thought he was trying to escape the CG through Udinaas...

Do you think it's that easy. It is indeed possible, and well within the realm of the CG powers. Interesting thoughts.
