I cannot do any mock drafts that are helpful because our set-up is so unique. Like we are SO far off what computers are doing I can't get an accurate gauge of what might come next without paying for it. And I'm not paying.

So I'm not signing up for this but I've been persuaded by a friend to join a fantasy league on ESPN, and I've no idea what the drafting actually is. Apparently if I don't log onto the site on the 21st August it'll automatically fill my roster. Which I'm quite happy to let it do (I think I'm more of a placeholder as someone dropped out).

Is there anything I need to know about these things?

Last year, there were I think 5 QBs in the first 2 rounds taken. And I would have snapped up Lamar if you hadn’t picked him, this time around as well.
I guess the thinking this year is that there is a large amount of really good QBs just behind Allen and Jackson, and you can wait for those while the top RBs and WRs are as narrow a group as they always have been?

Unless you are doing a lot of research just doing an auto draft is as good as anything else. The real difference is paying attention to the free agency. Knowing when a player is going to go on their bye week and planning a replacement in advance. Pay attention to injuries and be proactive in replacing from free agency.

Stay away from Jets players. It is a shit organization and they never perform like they should.

Yeah you have to be able to model 6 points for QB Tds and a lot of free mock now lock the points a 5.
