Also, I wanted to chime in on the "how do you show burning metals" thing...


I think it's infinitely doable. you do it by showing the throat glowing through the skin in a certain colour coming after an audible breath-in sound effect.

And just make the colours identifiably different enough..the script can do the rest by making sure people's allomantic powers are known and said on screen so audiences can follow...after that the powers can stand on their own after the breath.

And even then you can split the colours into shades inside the wider groups

Physical effect metals (Iron, Steel, Tin, Pewter) can be shades of blue
Mental effect metals (Brass, Zinc, Copper, Bronze) can be shades of Yellow
Enhancement effect metals (Aluminum, Duralumin, Chromium, and Nicrosil) can be shares of Green
Temporal effect metals (Cadmium, Bendalloy, Gold, Electrum) can be shades of Orange
God Metals (Atium, Lerasium) can be shades of red

And that will fly with casual viewers better than book readers, but Book readers will adapt to however they show it.
