Tapper, please quit picking my target right before I can freaking draft him!
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Well, ehm, pick whomever you think the player just before you had as their second option. Not helpful? OK.
We’re getting in the shit end of the draft where every player has downsides, and this is where you win or lose the draft. You win or lose the league by how you deal with injuries and loss of form or bad play or bad matchups or the weekly byes, so don’t sweat it.
Anyway, whomever you draft now is a lower tier player. QBs with bad pass protection, QBs with bad reads, QBs who are in a camp battle for their spot (Browns, Colts, New Orleans - don’t take a Saints QB this year, really).
WRs who are not the lead on their team, or WR with a bad quarterback, or RBs who are in a committee (meaning they get half or less than half of the runs on their team, or on passing downs only (like Spears, who you just drafted), TEs who are mostly called on to block or are third on volume in their own offense, making them very touchdown dependent, or players in general who came back from injury or have new untested coaches or coordinators.
I’d personally say that I would rather draft a guy on a team that I expect to be good, than a guy who may have better skills but plays on a team that I expect to be bad on offense - simply because it means a good team will be in control of the ball more, gets to the red zone more and thus, gets your player more chances to be involved and score points. When tied, for RBs, read up on which team has the better defense, because a better D means more recovery of the ball and less catching up with the opponent, which usually means abandoning the run game. A team that is comfortably ahead early will run more, too, to burn time on the clock. For WRs you could go by the reverse, perhaps 🤔.
And if all else fails and you really don’t know what to do, get the best defense or kicker.
Everyone is entitled to his own wrong opinion. - Lizrad

We’re gonna have to set a time limit for picks. Or we’re going to be pushing it to finish.

How much of it is the forum not loading? I get 403 errors all the time.

Yeah, it’s been pretty rough this year. Between that happening multiple times a day and weekends, we’ve slowed a fair bit.

Hey Mac, AR isn't the starter for the Colts. Daniel Jones is. I recommend switching your pick to any other quarter possible lol.
