Dayliss and Bairoth's child Pake Gild when still in the womb was being "suckled" by Fanged Skeleton(one of the seven faces in the Rock HoC pg 39)?

While Karsa is prepping for silver lake and goes to he's "gods glade" and makes vows and when he leaves afterwards this happens.....

Urual says " Fanged Skeleton, remain close to the child in Dayliss's womb"
"She feeds from my breast even now"
"A girl child?"
"In flesh only. What I make within is neither a girl, nor a child"
"Good"

This doesn't have any repercussion's somehow?, at least not yet as we meet Pake and she seems fine!
Is she the one Rant gets jiggy with?

It's been since a while I have read the book, but so far I don't think we have seen any repercussions. Maybe because Emroth was killed by Hedge. Or maybe Steve forgot. Or something is still coming.

And yes, that's her!

After a re-read: Pake Gild gives that lengthy lesson about the interbreeding Jhag horses and regular horses to create the Teblor horses, and I don't know if I picked up on it the first time, but it's very clearly an analogue for Rant himself. Maybe both thematically and in-text as a reason Pake Gild is so immediately interested in him. I don't know if any of this makes her secretly evil or anything like that, only that there's definitely more to come imo.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Interesting point. We're told many times that Rant is a big boy, but many of the Teblor tribes are diluted or weakened, til only Karsa's Uryd truly resemble what they once were, which leaves Rant a Teblor (Uryd)/human hybrid who 'should' be smaller/weaker than his dad. That said we're also told that the bloodoil was connecting them and sending energy to Rant, which is a full explanation even tho it runs contrary to Pake Gild's breeding experience.

Yes, that's the interesting part about the size, Rant being bigger than he should be rather than an in-between like the Teblor horses. The other aspect was temperament -- she says some male Teblor horses still come out ferociously carnivorous and have to be put down, and the breeding process is very carefully managed already because of that. And Rant again has basically the opposite temperament of that. I think you're right to figure it's probably that Karsa & mother triangle flow of energy. Which of course becomes more of a line between father and son by the end. Pake Gild hasn't -- so far -- struck me as nefarious, but she also didn't volunteer for all this just cuz she's exceptionally soft-hearted.
I guess what I'm saying is that Pake Gild is the Princess Bubblegum of the Teblor.

This is a good point and potentially something SE forgot.

Did we get a resolution on the rest of the the Teblor taken by the Faces in the Rock?
