Another nice summary/review, but I disagree that it's a labourious read. I actually found it a bit easier than GotM, being familiar with some of the characters.
It's my favourite of the series, along with Memories of Ice, actually. And to me it's the peak of SE's writing, as I prefer it to his style shift from Midnight Tides onward.
