By the topic title, you should understand that spoilers will probably abound.
Let's come up with some absolutely crazy theories about people and events in Malazan "universe".
I have a few:
Kruppe is the Shield Anvil of K'Rull, while being the Destriant of the Queen of Dreams, and the Mortal Sword of gluttony. His mule was K'Rull's Soletaken form.Pust is Kellanved's long-lost twin brother.Ardata secretely covets Kartool. If you know, you know.Helian is unknowingly the High Priestess of Ardata, her arachnophobia notwithstanding.

After a re-read of FoD, but not yet FoL: QB is actually Enedsia. Hear me out:
Enesdia was, after her death, raised to High Priestess of Dark by MD. She -could- be one of QB's souls, which would give him access to Elemental Dark, the Spar of Andii, the chutzpa to call out MD, etc...

Re-read TGiNW.
Crazy Theory #1:Gruff is really QB. Going by the description o his hands/long thin fingers. Supressing his Warrens by the otataral-imbued armour. Changing his appearance, voice and mannerisms (Mokra glamour?) helps too. Not much is said about Gruff's history in the Malazan military. Could be "watching over" the "last surviving Bridgeburner", but Spindle apparently has no clue about it.
Crazy Theory #2:Stillwater's scarf-witch is Feather Witch. Uses Erastas' Hold for her powers. No idea how she was entombed in that barrow, however.
Crazy Theory #3:Tangle-Witch (Oams' "companion") is actually a Forkrul Assail. Uses hands and physical strength to dismember people. Not so sure aobut her auburn hair, and all the extra nipples.
