Watching episode 6 now. The mystery is still great but I'm tiring of watching people monologuing in a language that their audience don't understand. It's not profound, it mostly just seems insane.

I love this show and how communication is a serious hampering problem. Much like it would have been on ships during that time.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

Wow. They kept me in WTF?! mode to the very end. This may be even more ambitious than Dark. A Season 2 must be likely. A re-watch is needed!

I will say that having watched dark I couldn't bring myself to care about a lot of people on 1899. I just knew that they wouldn't matter

I really enjoyed the season, trippy ending as expected, sure there is loads I missed too, will be worth a rewatch when s2 is due.
