Watching that video almost makes me wish I'd read more Sanderson. I've nothing against him and I enjoyed Mistborn I just haven't read Stormlight and have too many other books to read to get into a 10 book series that is only half read.
But this is cool and fair play to him. Now I'd better stop saying good things about him or Maark will come in here and repeat the same boring old things he always says any time we mention Sanderson...

As much as I'd like to have physical copies of whatever this is going to be, the shipping costs for international are quite obscene (not Brandon's fault, the latest Sullivan kickstarter had the same problem)

Sanderson asked for $1.26million for the kickstarter in funding.
And 3 days after launch....it's sitting at $26million in funding.
His traditional publishers (and may all traditional publishers) are probably shitting themselves right now.
The power of an author and his team cutting out the middle man and dealing directly with fans cannot be understated when the author has THIS kind of following.
