  • Why did Gothos give the Finnest (soul of Scabandari Bloodeye) to Ulshun Pral specifically?
  • Why did Ulshun Pral accept the dagger, knowing one day Silchas Ruin would come for it and that it would be potentially dangerous for him and his clan? Seems like needless danger to put himself through.

  • Not clear but it's possible he just wanted to safekeep it for a time until he decided what to use it for, and the Refugium was the perfect place for that.
  • Also not really answered in the books, but it could be Ulshun understood the importance of keeping the Finnest away from greedy hands and took it upon himself to guard it. Ulshun seemed to understand and accept that Silchas would come for it one day, I don't think he ever planned to keep it for himself if/when that time came.
