I got my Tor copy from the local book store when it came out this week in the US and the book is physically quite smaller than a typical Malazan hardcover. The height and width are each around 3/4 of an inch shorter than my Tor copies of Fall of Light and Kellanved's Reach. In fact, GNW matches the smaller size of the Science Fiction Book Club editions I have for some of the MBotF.

How do the Bantam hardcover copies appear in size to previous books? I don't mind the smaller edition, but it's odd.

Thanks. I was just looking at Amazon, which lists the dimensions of many books, and Tor's recent publishing output is a mix of these smaller sizes and the more typical larger size.
