Well just to bring back the topic to the question of how Kallor cursed 3 Elders.
In Hindu mythology all that was needed to curse someone was great sorrow. In such a way even humble mortals, with no link to gods or magic have cursed Gods. For example a mother once cursed Krishna after she lost 100 sons, which achieved the complete end of her line, in a war that could've been easily prevented by Him(notice the H) There are also examples of curses being placed through sacrificial means, so Kallor's curse on the 3 Elders works fine with those sacrifices

And there were a hell of a lot of sacrifices.

I guess killing his people served to purposes then,

1) To ensure that the gods could not take them from him

2) To sacrifice in order to curse the three elder Gods

The cursing wasn't intended. I mean, all he wanted was to ascend, he didn't expect the gods to curse him. His cursing them was only an answer, a revenge.

Do you think he was actually thankful to fall down the hole that QB provided? I mean it must have been the first rush he had had for years! :)

*ahem* useless banter on topic is still spam;)

Simeon that still doesn't answer my question. The book clearly says he destroyed it so that the Elder's couldn't take it away from him.
What makes you think he did simply because he was bored?

Well even when the elders came and cursed him, he didn't seem to bothered. I think what he liked was the power to control. If the elders took it away from him, he would lose control right? Therefore he kills them right? But say he just wanted to prove the fact that he can control, because he was sick of the ruling side? Maube he wanted a change, or to start again, so he could control a new set of people? Therefore he kills them anyway, relieving his boredom temporarily, and annoying the Elder Gods at the same time, thus bringing him amusement, and relieving him further from boredom...

seems fairly annoyed to me.
Also have another go at the prologue, he clearly destroyed them because he didn't want the elders taking it away from him. Boredom had nothing to do with

I guess that was his way of showing them his annoyance without flipping out and going mental...
