Cool. Can we spam other fora with the link? ;)

And emails too.

lol ... havng finallly found the time to watch it, i noticed there was a crucial element forgotten ... i can't put it up until i've remedied it ... trust me when i say i want it up as much as you want to see it.

edit: fine ... the problem is that someone edited out the first phrase of the voice-over (without permission) and will have to replace it. this makes the entire piece g-rated. i am not interested in a 'g' audience.

edit 2: all you spammers will be more than welcome to spread it around. that is your role, after all.

Pretty good patch... pretty good...

Is that clip going to be available for download to subscribers/registered users? If possible in a slightly better resolution, the clip suffers I think from poor resolution in the YouTube clip...

looks nice, my brother had some problem getting an idea what it's about though from those clips :/ guess I'm just worried they'll not hook viewers who aren't already interested

Well let me be the first to get negative:

This is ment as a professional stab at making a sci-fi show, from what I gather. From all I've heard this sounds like you want to create something new and interesting and I'm sure it's going to be... But that trailer was bad.

You don't see anything that makes you any wiser. It's just random clips put together that doesn't seem to have anything to do with what the voice is telling us. The voice is however very captivating.

First of what is that thing in the start? Maybe it's because of the quality of the clip but I couldn't tell what it was. Is it an alien ship? Is it a big bug flying in outerspace? It can't be the human space ship since that's supposed to be bulky and kinda primitive, whilst this thing seems to have some kind of highly advanced arms flailing about in the air and some ribs in the back.

Then there's some strange fight, don't really understand who's fighting who, but the small woman wins. Is one of them supposed to be an alien as this happens around the time the voice says there's evil aliens out there.

Then there's an old man, which is also a pointless clip that doesn't tell me anything other than people still get old in a couple hundred years. Doesn't connect with what the voice is saying. You see a guy drooling, something that looks like dirty walls and a woman looking and someone walking... none the wiser still.

Then there's 10 seconds of random images flickering by that is annoying and doesn't help either, all though it is a bit creepy.

Then there's a black guy with fluttering eyelids that also doesn't make sense.

If I stumbled upon this as a trailer for a new show starting in a week or so I don't know what I'd think. I love sci-fi so I'd watch it anyway, but if it was meant to catch otherwise unknowing wiewers, I don't think it's good. With only the voice's information it just sounds like another us versus them series.

The voice is very cool but that is all I get out of that clip.

I must admit I liked it thought it was good. But then I love wierd shows where we have no idea what is going on and we have to piece it together. Though I can see that many people may be put off as they will have no idea what exactly is going on. But definately if there is a better quality versiont that would be great as i would like to see it larger on the screen.

True, but his prologue isn't normally a dozen strange events on 4 pages that don't conect with the dialogue.

I'm sorry maybe it's just when you think of SE working on such a project you expect him to reinvent the wheel only this wheel will be better and more shiny ;)

@apt ... lmao .... there will always be those who think that they deserve perfection without the slightest iinvestment of their own ... this was funded by us ... not a major production studio, nor a national broadcaster ... we priorised our investments in area where we thought it would do most good ... i will not apologise for it ... no it's not perfect (yet), but it will be ... watch or don't watch ...

@gardengnome ... if you paid for a subscription and did not receive a validation email, then pm me ... if you just registered so you could get into the forums, don't wait up for one.

Since those were 'teasers' I hope a longer trailer would have a longer clip of some ships. I agree with Apt that there is little substance to the trailer. I'm hooked, but then, I love sci-fi. Teasers typically don't say much though. You need longer trailers for that.

Pssst...the 'aliens' are us humans. You ever wanna learn what a harsh, barbaric, 'eat or be eaten' lifestyle is, take a trip to that little backwater planet called Earth.
