GamingBolt just did another E3 speculation video, and apparently Arkane Austin is working on a dark fantasy (vampires)- themed game that might be slated for spring 2022.

"Dishonored, but Vampires" sounds pretty amazing, so that'd be a really cool E3 reveal.

I'm hoping we also get a Wolfenstein 3 trailer from Bethesda/Machine Games. Fingers crossed for MechaHitler.

Supposedly Arkane has also been working on something next gen besides Deathloop.

Posting this here because I think it all can rolled into the E3 event.

So the Dying Light 2 reveal. Well, I guess my take away is the day time is for fighting living people (factions), the night time (which was scary in DL1 but seems to be scarier in DL2) will be when the infected (zombies) come out and scmaaaack that ass. Seems like you're going to have to sneak into their lairs while they are out at night in order to get the tasty loot. The notion that decisions made will affect the game was mentioned, but I would like to know a lot more about that. Also, there's new infected types, which is expected. And this presentation didn't cover it, but I guess since it's pushing the timeline to years later, there aren't guns, or they are not easily acquired. So melee it is (and probably bows and spears and rudimentary projectile weapons).

Watched the Farcry 6 stream. Not much point in a big announcement like that for a 15 minute feature but what ever.

I liked what they showed but I'm still a bit weary after the last game underwhelmed me. They really need to work on their stories and their recycled mission content. Hopefully the majority of the weapons aren't hidden behind weekly online quests this time.

Also watched the Horizon 2 and Dying Light 2 features. Both games seem like more of the same which is cool.

Gotta say that Horizon gameplay segment was some overly scripted game conference bullshit. No way that plays out like that. More likely you just sit in the grass and whistle the raptors over to stunlock them.

Liked the edition of armour segments to the enemy NPCs. That seems new. Makes your regular bow shots seem pretty weak though, I guess it'll be all about the headshots.

Yeah, HFW looks nice, but that scripted play with the corny dialog was painful.

Human enemies had armor in HZD. The helmet guys were a real PITA, because you couldn't headshot them.

During the Dying Light 2 presentation they announced Dying Light Platinum Edition, which includes EVERYTHING. Not sure what the price is, but if you haven't tried Dying Light (one of the best games of the PS4/XBONE generation imo) the Platinum Edition might be worth a look.

There's going to be an awards show to close out the show? A most anticipated games awards? eh, isn't that best served by just letting all the popular video game journalists put out their analysis of the event? Is this really needed? Maybe time filler to fill out the event with content?

Usually after E3 various games will add some kind of sticker to their marketing about 70 most wanted awards or what ever.

Are they making this into an actual ceremony?

squeeenix's announced headliner is a brand new reveal from Eidos Montreal. Which is gonna be the Guardians of the Galaxy game, to my eternal sadness, and not a new Deus Ex. Probably other stuff they're announcing as well, but this is what they're actually letting everyone know about in advance.

Lots of interesting stuff in that leak, including Firaxis making a Marvel-themed Xcom-like.

Deep SIlver confirmed that Metro, Dying Island, TimeSplitters, Saints Row will NOT be shown on the 11th.

Makes me wonder what they hae in store that warrants a presentation. I think they are publishing 1C's "Kings Bounty 2" in August, but that's about the only thing they have announced beyond that "Space sim with powers", Chorvs
4A IS supposed to be working an a new IP though. Maybe it's time for Kingdom Come 2? and Flying Wild Hog apparently also has another IP in the works, aside of Shadow Warrior 3 and Evil West.

And hey, maybe Volition was working on a new Red Faction all along? lol.

Valve will make their first-ever appearance on the PC Gaming Show.

Possibly to reveal their new handheld device.

2K and Gearbox will announce a new game (probably the Tiny Tina spin-off) at Keighley's event on the 10th.
