i sometimes post on http://www.chronicle...work.net/forum/ writers board as i cant reach the malazan board at work anymore and rarely have access to a pc in the evenings.

www.absolutewrite.com - very good for freelance work, and writing tips in general.

Extremely friendly community, but you have to be registered and like found to be trustworthy before you get access to the writers' forums, partly for copyright reasons
