I have already been looking through races, and there are just too many good ones to choose from.

He could set up to take your home system forcing you to take leadership and he Imperials a win...

He already is. I've done some rough calculations and as of right now he is about 60-40 favorite to win the fight over Winnu and bombard my puny infantry to dust. I'm not as well set up to win as you all seem to think
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Busy day at work guys sorry! Will look at my options when I get home, moving any of my ships gives a lot of options!
And whilst I'm here rules query, how does my hero interact with gravity rift if I move the ship there out.

You dont have any ships in the rift now nor can I see you reaching it currently. I'd assume the same rules for rift movement apply though.

Wait is Cormund considered a gravity rift?

There is no struggle too vast, no odds too overwhelming, for even should we fail - should we fall - we will know that we have lived. ~ Anomander Rake
My sig comes from a game in which I didn't heed Blend's advice. So maybe this time I should. ~ Khellendros
I'm just going to have to come to terms with the fact that self-vote suiciding will forever be referred to as "pulling a JPK" now, aren't I? ~ JPK

If it is I've dodged a bullet all game as on numerous occasions I've seriously thought about moving a decent fleet into it just to get rid of that damn PDS.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

You are thinking linear my friend. Hero all ships to Beta Wormhole, move to Quann whilst it is weak.
Next round he can have a pop at yours and Morgoths HW if necessary

I don't think you understand how my hero works, I can only move ships to systems where I have a command token.

Based on the wording, I'm assuming that ships can move out without having to do a Gravity Rift roll while using your Hero, but I'm not 100% certain about that and haven't been able to find anything online about it. I've asked in the Rules help thread in the TI4 TTS Discord, will let you know what they say.

Welp, that was fast. According to them it's still moving ships out of a Gravity Rift, so you'd still have to do Gravity Rift rolls for any ships you're moving out of Cormund.

It's a deceptively tough nut to crack, that's why I moved aggressively to put a PDS there early. Anyone who moves in would have to dedicate a substantial number of troops to ensure they removed the PDS, but whatever is there risks being destroyed,
I thought you'd recognised that and was why you had backed off!

Nope. I didnt recognize it. I just found better options so never got around with dealing with it. And now with the hero move I guess Imperial isn't an option. You already had enough of a force to deal with my homeworld. Dont you think this is a bit of overkill?
