I think in terms of set up and first rounds I came off the worst there. Everyone seemed to have a million moves and great trades. Some races seem to have better starts I think, maybe hampered by near last of strategic pick.

Yes its what I think too. I'm not sure how I would have played this round differently. Without the control the outer objective I would have had one more planet and exploration.

Yes and no. I got a lot of relatively resource poor planets, but I like my position all the same. Shame I messed up all the moving parts with the agreements with Khell and twelve and Blend. This faction is all about the explore and the relics, so I'll have to see how things go as I gain more of those.

Yes, but I can’t decide whether to give it to you now, or swap it when the agenda comes up on which I want your votes. It’s a case of swap it now and I’m sure Tatts will follow through but will be very close to getting a relic; or delay Tatts getting a relic, but then he may refuse the deal when he sees what the vote is Probably should just give it to you now.

You've got the most influence in your slice by far which I think will be telling.

Naaz Rokha and Winnu both have hero abilities that could let you get a surprise imperial play which really stranges the strategic landscape. That and the relics make me think this game will be finishing quicker than last time. Though the new PO's look more difficult so maybe not!

There start is certainly very fast, but they don't seem to have a huge number of abilities which will make gaining points easier.

There fleets do seem very strong,, but struggling to see how I can translate that to points with the current objectives.


I also think they are probably best in a high influence, low resource slice which I seem to have the opposite of, though that does raise the tempting proposition of warsuns in my future.

Perhaps not, but I have been unsure how to keep up with POs the first couple of rounds, so this gives me a bit of breathing space, which is a relief. I guess I'll have to be very careful about ever claiming a Legendary World, which is a shame. They look like great fun.
