It's one of the legendary planets and I do want it, yes. I am happy to leave off entering the asteroid system 'and being mean to you' in exchange for the planet. In the future, I may have to enter the system in order to escape danger (this is hypothetical, I'm not predicting it will happen), but I won't do it in prelude to being aggressive against you - unless obviously you are against me first.

So I'm happy to agree to that and allow you to fly around the empty space hex this round as previously discussed in exchange for Terraform.

It's a legendary planet, it lets you build a free mech each round anywhere you want. It's value is 3 resources, plus a 2 resource mech, plus the CT you'd need to build it, so saying it's worth 8TG a turn isn't unreasonable.In my opinion it's the best new legendary planet by far.

Hmm, guess I'll use grey for the mod colour this time around.

Tatts' explo is drawn and added. Notice how some explo cards are an opportunity to do a thing immediately or not, and some of them are a choice, so a lot of the time you'll have to make a 2nd decision on your turn like so.

Correct. You either remove the infantry to gain a CT, or you do nothing and receive nothing. Either way the card is then discarded.

I had a question regarding my flagships ability, do I need to pay 8 resources for it when I meet the criteria for Deploy?

No. Unless otherwise stated, you must resolve the exploration card's effect immediately. So whether or not you use the effect that Freelancers gives you, it will be discarded immediately.

No. DEPLOY abilities only cost resources/influence/whatever if they specifically say so in the text itself.

I haven't looked thoroughly through the explore card decks to see how impactful they are, but would it be better to pause our turns after exploring to see what comes up and how we want to resolve it before posting the rest of our turn? Or post it all and then possibly revise if it's impacted by the Exploration card?

Most turns aren't going to have anything after the exploration so shouldn't make much difference. Saar has Scavenge, Mech deployment, and potential building with floating factories all after it though, so in your case there may be times where that does indeed make sense to do, I'll leave it to your discretion.
