Yeah if Twelve has a scorable SO I can't see him not winning.

Presumably you'll grab imperial next turn too, so the game is very likely to end next round.

Maybe, maybe not. For me, the plan is I get to 5 VP this round and then I need to somehow score 2 SOs + a PO with Imperial + a status phase PO next round if I want to get to 10 next round, and I'll be last in status phase.

Twelve scores the 16 influence PO this round to reach 8, and then either next round's stage 2 PO or the 8 influence + an SO for him to reach 10 next round - pretty likely.


But it's a heck of a mountain for me to get 2 SOs + a PO with Imperial + a status phase PO next round. So if we do stifle Twelve the game could easily go 2 more rounds, I think.

Well I certainly don't have enough power to do anything about it. I don't even get 10% chance at Quann throwing all my best ships and as many fighters as I can manage at it, and thats all I have access to at the moment.

Exactly. I can knock out Arinam. You can knock out Dal Bootha/Xxehan. Tatts could knock out Torkan. That leaves Twelve with not enough TG+inf to score the stage 2 PO this round.

I don't have a flank speed, so if you can wait 1 turn to do this it'll make my attack on Arinam a lot better odds. otherwise the only cruiser that can reach will be the one from starpoint, so it'll be about a 50/50 odds.

Why would you not score the PO? You're up in points and you'd let us try and close the lead rather than win as fast as possible?

Alright, I have to add an action to my turn, so should I or shouldn't I go for Dal Bootha/Xxehan? Based on this, I should just leave it to you? I hate doing that given the amount of TGs you'll gain, but I certainly want to ensure we all have a chance to win the game.
