I have no plans to attack IH, but if you were to take Wellon I'd have no qualms about taking it off of you

Slightly better than my game as Muatt went - I managed to get up to 5VP by the time the Yin player won. My neighbours were the Yin and the Sol, others were Jol-Nar, Muatt and Hacan with Hacan being a fairly new/inexperienced player. Sol wouldn't let me actually score a couple of things - he'd swoop in after I had passed and take away the one planet that I needed, and he did it twice! Damn humes! Jol-Nar were pretty close to the win but Yin played very passively most of the game and managed to sneak in a couple 2 VP objectives in a row right at the end.

I'll tell you, playing it "IRL" is very different - lots less time to scour the map and decide what the best strategy is. No time to really punch everything into the battle calculator to see your chances. Plus the game meta is slightly different than ours - people tend to be more ruthless than on here most of the time (think Gnaw, but with an actual purpose).

Right, but I could just take Meer and there's not much you could do about it given I have your Ceasefire.

I'd rather do it peacefully, but if you force me to do it the hard way, I may just do it.

The only way Wellon works for me, though, is if IH doesn't play my Ceasefire if I try to take it.

I'm more likely to go for Meer than Wellon given it's nearer my end of the map.

I have his Ceasefire - if he wants to waste 2 CTs to take it back, then all the power to him. Not only will I get 8TGs out of that attempt, he'll have wasted a bunch of actions over something he could have resolved peacefully.

I only need it until the end of this round, then I'd pull back. *shrugs*

Also, IH and I have a good partnership going, I'd prefer not to tarnish that - I'd rather have the Muatt be angry at me than the space rats.
