That is my intent, yes. If you look further up on this page, and also two pages ago, and the page before that, you'll see IH and I planning out the fate of New Ablion/Starpoint quite specifically.

I already have 2 cruisers built. I'll be upgrading them to cruiserII tech, and yes building more.

And I'm not actually all that worried about if you did decide to go for Starpoint/NA. You can only get your carrier there with no fighter escort, it's an easy win for my cruisers. Just more of a pain taking the planets, but still inevitable I'll get them this round or next.

Building 2 infantry costs 1 resource. If you're bargaining for no tax then that means I'm likely to get at least 1 trade good = 1 resource off of you, possibly more. So it makes more mathematical sense for me not to agree to that.

When did you build the 2 cruisers? I only see 1 carrier you've moved and 1 cruiser.

You being able to put another 2 infantry on Mallice for example is worth more than 1 tg.

I may just do 2 commodities with twelve, spend them for 2 tokens when I flip leadership and trade with him for 2 again then.

But yes, that is exactly what I said. I'll have a harder time taking one of the planets, probably won't get it until next round. Is controlling 1 planet far, far away from your homeworld for a single round, possibly not even getting to use it before I take it next round, really worth the loss of a carrier and 2 infantry? If it is, then by all means go for it.

TBH I don't think there's a lot you can offer me not to pillage this round. I need it to catch up from the piss poor Mentak fleet starting with only 1 carrier compounded by Twelve's warfare stall. I started this round with 2 planets, versus your 5 or IH/Blend's 7. Pillaging is the Mentak mechanic for slowly catching up from their bad start. The only thing I'd give it away for is other ways of compensating for my slow start.

I'm still looking to move out of AL. I also want to trade with you and Twelve but you're making that difficult with wanting to pillage me.

Other solutions are, I give you 1 TG next round for you not pillaging me this round or you have my votes this agenda phase which will help you bargain for more things.
