Drek, in the interest of our relationship, what would you say if I took Arnor Lor this round and compensated you by giving you and only you a free refresh next round? We can swap out commodities together. I get 3 trade goods from popping trade and you pillage 1. We then trade 2 for 2 and you don't pillage that. I think I'll be on 4 and you'll be on 3 tgs. So my remaining 2 commodities we swap and you pillage. I'll be on 5 tgs and you'll be on 4.

Would you agree to this?

Once again Twelve, like almost every game so far you've chosen not to negotiate anything early doors and do your own thing. That's fine but I like to see where I stand with a player. Your statement of what's to negotiate its mine shows how short sighted you are. Maybe I am willing to concede Arinam Meer without a fuss to behave a friendly neighbour, it's a 6 influence system but so is MR. I'd prefer to try and take that and keep it.

So in the interest of civility what are you considering as your slice?

Is it possible I could take Torkan for a round seem as you're not invading it this turn?

Which tech speciality planets are you looking at to score that objective?

Have a nice time! Must be good to getaway. We're in lockdown. Holidays cancelled in October. I haven't seen my parents in 10 weeks. I've had a birthday with just my wife and daughter. Same with my wife's birthday in September. The only thing I'd leave house for is food shopping and work although now I'm working from home. So food shopping once a week is when I leave the house.

Are you proposing this and you keep Arnor/Lor forever? Not sure that's worth just 2 TG.

2tg? Free refresh is a CT by itself. You end up with 4 tg and peace between neighbours. Don't be coy.

With the alpha wormhole you have options whereas I don't. You and IH always play down cost of things.

I was going to take technology next round so this deal would be altering my strategy pick as well.

If I don't do the deal I can just pillage you anyways, so yes only 2 TG net gain for me vs not doing the deal.

And even if it WAS a net benefit of 4 TG, Arnor/Lor gives 4 total res+inf every single round, so it will pay out something like 24 res/inf over the course of the game. Why would I want to give up any claim or ambition of 24 res/inf in exchange for only 4 TG, let alone 2.

We could just split it. You move in this round. Next round you leave and I move in, taking only 1 planet and leaving the other one yours. After that we can do a PN swap if you like - neither planet is very good for a space dock so I don't think we'll need to activate it ever again after that.

Tatts. I consider mine everything that is directly adjacent to my homeworld and the system next to Rex in a straight line from it to be mine. Those systems that are equidistant from my homeowlrd and someone elses to be up for grabs. Either we can negotiate, concede or take and hold that is left for us to decide. As Muaat and my ever desperate need for CT a 6 influence system is not negotiable. I'll let you do Rex which is a Sol thing so it's not like you won't get CT. Add in the fact that you have a built in Hyper Metabolisim and your lover of Orbital Drop and denying Sol of as many CTs just makes sense. Now as for things to actually negotiage for I don't have any issue with you taking Torkan this roound as long as you realize you will only have it for a brief period of time. Though I am looking to do the 3 tech specialty objective next round so I guess I can negotiage for you to keep it longer in exchange for the tech planet next to your homeworld next round. Is this something we can work out?
