I'm asking for that as a contingency. I'm not going to try and let anyone else win but I had no plans of moving over Twelve's HW this round.

If that remains the case by end of the round, then you'll have a shiny Research Agreement given to you during the Agenda phase and I'll research whatever you want me to (except War Suns).

There's a non-zero chance that Blend is about to play Mining Initiative/Uprising/Scuttle to get the TGs he needs to both qualify for the PO and move for his SO. So you may have to move over Twelve's HW, anyway. (And if Blend *also* has the Counterstroke AC you may need to move in before he does.)

The only way I gain TGs this round is if someone activates a system with my ships in it, so no, none of those action cards sitting in my hand. I was excited when I got Industrial Initiative, but then disappointed when I realized I had no industrial planets. It was still useful as a stall card, but would have been much more useful as a way to gain TGs.

Which is your prerogative. FYI, I'll be stalling as long as I can before playing Leadership.

Yeah, but you wanted it for LWD and you've just researched that.

I wanted it ideally for LWD, just because I've got that doesn't mean I don't want other tech from it.

Well, I have to say that I assumed you had given up on it given your research, and definitely assumed that the deal was to pass it to you to research LWD as my researching LWD was part of our deal.

Regardless, I'm at a point in my game where I have to do what's most likely to get me a win. Not keeping an agreement with you seems safer than having Tatts working against me.

I sincerely doubt anyone is going to pick Tech SC next round anyways... if there even is a next round.

Well I consider this a clear breach of our deal. Honestly I'm shocked you are even considering giving Tatts anything.

D'rek is guaranteed Imperial next round. Unless someone has the action card that gets rid of the law she is in the Driver seat to win.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I take it the abolish a law agenda didn't come up when you played Politics then?

Nope but I'm thinking I need to bottom at least 1 to give it a chance.

Without any idea what agendas you're looking at, I'd just bottom both of them to give us a better chance. We will also all need to work together to outvote Drek, she still has a considerable vote lead. The only person close to her is Tatts.

That was one of the first laws we saw in this game, so it won't come up again.

Holy Planet of Ixth, Crown of Emphidia, Crown of Thalnos, Shard of the Throne, and Mutiny could still pop up and give a player 1 VP to win the game in the agenda phase. That'd be pretty anti-climactic, though, so hopefully not.

Yes, Repeal hasn't been played yet.
