3 inf versus 4 with acs for the win?

It's a gamble but I have 4 options to score I think. It may be a gamble you'd be willing to take.

Well, if I fail in taking Torkan, and none of you get to 10 before the status phase, I win. I'll be speaker and there is simply no way to block me from scoring at that point without taking one of my home planets. Which is theoretically doable I suppose, but not easy.

The question to my mind is whether the odds of blocking you all, and that means especially tatts, from reaching 10 before the status phase is higher than the 20 % I have right now. And to be honest I am starting to think it's not.

Blend can reinforce Torkan next turn, with Morale boost its 30 percent.

If you wait until status then the only person you beat for initiative is me if I haven't won by then.

Yeah, I had hoped there'd be an earlier number for me, So I could move a full carrier too while the window was still open. I was surprised IH picked Leadership, and that twelve followed up with diplomacy.

Had I considered that to be likely, which I suppose I should have, I would have picked Fleet Logistics rather than carrier 2. It's looking more likely that fleet logistics would have been the better play either way, but I was too focused on the open path to Torkan, and the 2 unit techs PO as the backup solution.

I unfortunately have no combat cards for ground combat. But I do have all the sabotage.

Oh, I did honestly not expect that! Hah, well played tatts! You were so close, and were in the better statistical position. It's a shame I didn't get to try to wait you all out and play my turns once everyone had passed, but I still I feel I got a lot of use out of the Yssaril. It's a fun faction for sure, and forgiving since the abundance of action cards and delay tactics provides so many options.

Good game Morgoth.

I had the 4 techs SO that I would be able to score if it got to the status phase, and the destroy a flagship SO.

Knew there was no way I'd be scoring an imperial point, and unfortunately the flagships stayed annoyingly absent.


Happy with second, struggled playing the L1 as being aggressive is not a style I fall into naturally.
