All the regular chat thread reference material is in the Reference Thread.

Couple of important notes about this game!

We will now be using the new text for Magen Defense Grid, X-89 Bacterial Weapon and the Diplomacy Strategy Card.

The information in the Reference Thread should be updated to include these changes.

We will be using the original 8 strategies rather than our 9 strategies.

I have added the Strategy Cards we will be using under a spoiler tag in the OP.

They will also always be on the map once we get the game started!

Alright, so I think the 6 players we have signed up are the ones we're gonna get at this time, and I would rather have more time to get everything set up than wait 2 extra days just to make sure someone might want to join, so I just went ahead and created the map that Drek suggested cause I'm all for having fun games!

To that point, please check the map on the game thread - the starting positions have been numbered 1-6.

I have randomized the signup list as follows:

1. Twelve
2. Imperial Historian
3. Morgoth
4. ItWasNom
5. D'rek
6. Tattersail

So, as we've done for the last couple of games - starting with Twelve and going down the list, you can choose either your starting position, your race, or the speaker token. Once we get to the end of the list (Tattersail) we will then go backwards on the same list. So Tatts will choose two of the three available options, then Drek will choose her second and so on.

Go ahead and post in here!

(Disclaimer: If yall feel we should wait until Friday to see if anyone else will sign up, then say so and we can do so, but if we have more than 6 players, then the map and the strategy cards we use will change)

That's a very interesting map. Especially as I was planning to force myself into a more active role on the map this time around.

It looks like you have the old Diplomacy card in the spoilers. Are we not using the new Diplomacy card? And weren't there some changes to some of the techs as well? I know magen was one but I thought there was something else. Maybe it is just the diplo card but I thought there were 2 tech that got buffed.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

So do I go first? Do I post it in this thread or the game thread? I guess I need to look at the signup thread again and peruse that. Are we doing race bans? Or are all races available?

Well looks like the game thread is locked. The map looks... interesting. I have no idea which race I want to try out and I think I'll let the slice I'm stuck with determine my race so I pick speaker right off the bat
