I wasn't intending it to be a "Drive by vote". I was putting it on him to encourage him to reply, since while I do think his posts are suspicious, I'd also like to see if his pattern of behavior continues or if that last post was just him being weird once. I can see him legitimately being nervous about posting, but it's still an excuse. Him actually posting would give us more stuff to read and talk about regarding his lynch.BTW, why are people assuming there's a symp or something? I don't see any evidence for it.My thoughts on Aranatha: Made a few NAI posts and then jumped out on Tennes, saying they were basically guaranteed scum. I'm not sure if they're really that certain about Tennes or if they're just an aggressive villager trying to get some reactions. Then Aranatha and Sheltatha had a little conversation about Tennes that didn't seem to go that well. Aranatha's reactions felt pretty angry, but that could come from either a villager or scum. I'm suspicious about them for that initial Tennes vote though but everything else reads NAI or aggressive villager. If they keep up the Tennes tunnel I'll be a lot more suspicious. They did switch to Okral recently but then again so have most other people.

Scummy as fuck. The first two sentences alone are cringeworthy. I would think 5 votes (a solid day one lynch train) more than enough to pressure Okral, so your supposed reasoning is just bunk.

At this point, a failure to lynch would be a massive town failure. There will be a lot to analyze already with the vote switching, drama, yelling, etc, but failing the lynch will halve useful information. So all you fucking stallers get in line and finish this since we have 4 hours until we lose information.

Ok it took a while to catch up and I’m on my phone while I wrap up work.

Two things really stand out to me from the last 24 hours:

Aranatha’s fit. He says he was just “poking”, but he definitely created a stir over skintik. This play doesn’t usually read as a killer to me, since they tend to want to blend in. Speculation on whether there is a symp and if so is it him is not likely to get us anywhere at this point, but I’ll be keeping my eyes open.

Thyr and his perfectly averageness. That comment has bothered me, and I agree he seems to be playing that way. I’d like to hear more before timeout.

And Okral. Kalse’s case is pretty decent. Who plays Malazan Mafia and is afraid to say anything? FFS post drunk if you have to! His play for sympathy reads off, and I don’t get the Merrid vote.

I don’t want to rush through the lynch, but I will be voting either Okral or Thyr.

You're not helping your case. Stop talking about how nervous you are and do something useful instead. You said you were nervous about posting tangible stuff too early. If you're Town, it is never too early for information. Yes, sticking your neck out might come back to haunt you. Tough luck. Everyone wants to survive but at the end of the day you don't win if you live to the end of the game, you win if your team wins.

It looks like you're getting lynched today and for a good reason but if you're actually town, you still have 3 hours or so to post something useful. Build a case. Share your notes. Give the team something to work with on the following day if you actually flip town.

But still this was easy and I'm a little alarmed how swiftly the train went, including Ruse's and Ara's relatively quick switch from Tennes (Note that Aranatha is suddenly content enough with following Tennes after all the vibe scanner stuff)

A lot of dubious stuff going on today but it kinda started when there were 2 votes on Thyr, who during that time got a few joke or otherwise altogether insubstantial posts in, made sure he takes having the votes on himself with ease, then as the attention on him died away so did his presence

I generally agree with this.

Okral aside I think The train on Thyr was derailed. I still stand by my vote since its highly informative. I am less confident of Okral with the random vote on Merrid.
