OK if this invasion works from D'Rek I have been stopped. I do no think I can defend against IH's fleet, and Thibah is easily taken.

My only chance was bunker, but it was stopped.
D'rek will most likely get the secret " Make an example of their world "

So I will play the Wormhole next turn, after Blend updates the invasion & bombartment of D'rek.

Please tell me where and how to use the wormhole PN

It’s interesting that D’rek is committing to invading all three planets when one of them has no influence.

By the way, why hasn’t anyone thanked me yet for making D’rek remove a ship from near her homeworld and ridding herself of the cancel action ability? I could not have done more to help! :)

Would using an action card on Drek lose me my SFFT, I dont think so

When you receive this card, if you are not the XXCHA player, you must place it face-up in your play area and gain 1 victory point. If you activate a system that contains 1 or more of the XXCHA player's units, or if the XXCHA player is eliminated, lose 1 victory point and return this card to the XXCHA player.

The way I read it, you could even activate, invade and establish control of a system she owns but has no ships in/ ground forces on in without losing the SftT.

That's how I read it too. I mean I am playing an action to exhaust and destroy infantry, I am not activating the system at all. So I think i'll be okay with retaining the SFTT

I was going to say play the wormhole next to Tatts homeworld but for some reason I thought Morgoth had lightwave Deflectors and could reach D'reks homeworld. Might still be worth doing. Who else has that tech?
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Even someone like Nom, attacking the destroyer and then moving in would be good.

Only Khell has that tech, and I imagine the best method for Khell would be the wormhole played in or near his homesystem so he can move through it to D'reks homeworld.

That said Khell will probably be forced to pass before he can make a move as leadership is being delayed in the current plan.

Though due to the way leadership and secondaries are played, leadership could theoretically be played in round 4 after Toaster plays, giving Khell a chance to refresh, and Nom and I take Thibah/Torq in the 4th round so Toaster can't use them for leadership at the start of round 5

Guys let me know where to place the wormhole, otherwise it is clear that D'rek just wins.

If that helps Khell, it is an option to play Leadership in action phase 4, too. I am very flexible, especially given Fleet Logistics.

I do, fwiw, but a wormhole wouldn't help me much to do anything against D'rek.

I’m not sure what you think I can do bearing in mind that most of my fleet has been disintegrated and the homeworld fleet is locked down by a token, but I’m happy to try if someone sees a viable path!

Yeah maybe the best plan is what we did with Toast. Take all the influence planets off D'rek. How many troops does D'rek still have on Rex? Morgoth is right next door so he can take a stab at that while I try and the 3 influence planet. Not great odds but does anyone else have any suggestions?

Can you do something about Bereg/Lirta?

I can exhaust Bereg or Lirta if D'rek refreshes them from Diplomacy. So Khell plays Diplo, D'rek uses Diplo and then you play Leadership, but before she can go I can exhaust her planet.

True story: there is an action card I've been hanging onto since, like, round 2. It isn't a sabotage. But maybe one of the other ones is. But probably not.

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Another true story: If I still had any action cards, none of them would be a sabotage. A morale boost, sure. A courageous to the end, of course! But a sabotage - nope.

Stopping influence won't matter, she already has 6 tokens as we speak.

Only thing that will stop her is to invade her home planet.

Maybe IH you can wait one turn with taking TORQ/TECURAN

SO I can move my fleet to D'rek.

I will take all from the planet, and then you get a free invade.
