When making a post, the forum seems to remove spacing/lines from the text when I post... now this would not normally bother me but my OCD kicks in and I spend ages editing the text to get equal line space between the sentences...

It'll go from:

Full sentence

Full sentence

To:

Full sentence
Full sentence

Does this happen to anyone else? Happens to me at home and at work.

It doesn't happen to every line, only some of them...

Also I'll have a nicely formatted post but when I click edit it clumps all together again...

Not really issues I guess but for the OCD...

Yeah, same here. Only happens on mobile devices though (phone, tablet), not when I post from my PC. I now always put two blank lines inbetween paragraphs when posting from a mobile device, which then show up on the forum as one spacing.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

It happens to me when I am on my PC too, wonder if it is Firefox as I use that at both locations.

Happens to me, pretty randomly, and I post almost exclusively from PC (and browser choice doesn't make a difference as far as I can tell).
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

This seems like it would be more due to how your browser/device treats text boxes, not something specific to the site itself.

One option is: in your profile settings on this site you can uncheck the "Enable visual (RTE) editor?" setting, which will make all your text boxes here plaintext with visible formatting tags.

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

I'll give that a shot - thank you!
