Given Morgoth told us he would be on vacation, and realistically, it's the middle of summer, and that I will be mostly away from the game (certainly unable to do map updates) from August 2-7, I'm thinking we just be patient. He'll get back to the game eventually!

Sorry guys! My phone got stolen in Spain, and with spending the time there with my family and my gfs family together it didn't occur to me to find some other way to log in here and check the game. Running around making sure they were all having a good time and not growing tired of each other felt like two full time jobs. My mistake! I'm at work now and am swamped after three weeks of holiday but will get to the game shortly!!

It was wonderful actually. My family and hers seemed to take to each other with surprising ease, despite being in many ways very different (in more ways than just the obvious cultural divide, and the language barrier). My youngest brother whom speaks not a word of Spanish was more or less adopted by my GFs aunt and uncle though they speak not a word of English. God knows how they communicate so well.

When we got back home to Norway last night we were so pleased and so very very exhausted.

I recognize that I look a tempting target, but it is my hope that those of you whom would consider attacking me see the value in letting me tie up as much of D'rek's Solarian resources as I am able. If I am attacked by others I will surely collapse and D'rek will stand the strongest single force on the board, and being Sol, there's very little you can do to dislodge her from that position.

I should note that I'll be visiting family from August 2-7 - I will have access to the internet, but not to the software I use for map updates, so I'll keep the game running (though probably be less available than usual) but won't be able to do a map update until I get back home!
