I am really enjoying how the not every strategy card gets picked, and the card khell picks goes out of order really affects strategy.
Also gnaw what's the going rate for a refresh?

Morgoth, I'm probably going to make myself speaker, but as a good neighbour i could be persuaded to make you speaker for a fee, and leaving me the strategy card of my choice.

Khell, re wellon I can offer the assurance that I won't interfere with your other ships, I will move in late in the round allowing you to use it's resources, and I will move out early next round and not towards your territory. Saves you from needing to waste resources defending it.

I'm happy for both of you to have a turn at owning Wellon. I know you asked first, IH, but D'rek gets priority because she's in a position to mess about with my other systems if I leave them too exposed, lucky her. So who wants Wellon this round is D'rek's choice - if she wants it then you'd have to wait till next round I'm afraid IH (or find another solution I guess).
D'rek, I'll agree to you holding Wellon for a status phase in exchange for you not moving into the Bereg-Lirta system or messing around with it in some other way, but obviously I'd like you to move in one ship with minimal infantry, and take them back out (ship and infantry) towards your systems the following round. Deal?
IH, if you're still happy to try next round, then I'd also like a shot at borrowing one of your tech planets in exchange the round after.

That sounds good to me. I'll do it this round, you can work it out with IH for next round as-desired. How about the following terms:
>> I promise not to activate Bereg/Lirta for this and 3 more rounds
>> You promise not to activate Centauri/Gral for this and 3 more rounds
>> I'll move a single carrier to Wellon, with max 3 infantry (less if there is no defending Naalu infantry), at the time of your choosing in this round
>> Next round, I'll move the carrier and all infantry out of Wellon as my first turn

I am happy to make that deal. How about I hold off on using diplomacy until you have need for the refresh?

It's not like you were going to use it first thing either way

That sounds good, agreed. I think any point after I exhaust Wellon should be fine to move in. I probably won't be able to move that infantry though so you'll have to remove it yourself. Deal then!

So where are you relocating the infantry to?
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Gnaw, I see you have updated the resource thread but you haven't responded to my offer to swap resources. Did you miss my post?
I’ll eat them before I give them to you for free.

Yeah you are probably playing it turn 2 or 3 anyway which wouldn't be bad for me anyway. Seems a bit light for the benefit of the speaker token. I'll do it for me choosing when diplomacy is played and you give me a PN. If you give me all your votes on a future agenda of my choice that doesn't negatively affect me I'll return the PN.

I think it’s pretty clear why I had to do a deal with D’rek first. I’m still happy to let you borrow Wellon the following round instead if you don’t find other solutions, or you can continue blustering for no real reason.
