You don't lose out on 3 tgs when you use trade. Seems like a no brainer to me. It's essentially the same as swapping commodities. You can pick the timing of the trade as it makes the most sense to do it right before you use trade.

Huh just realized you are saying you end up with 3 commodities. Well you are currently at 3 commodities and when you use trade without converting those commodities to tgs you remain at 3 commodities. If we execute the trade right before you use trade you gain 6 tgs and 3 more commodities. So you will still need a way to convert the new commodities but at least you don't lose out on the potential to gain 3 more.

I was planning on moving into starpoint airspace my first move so if you want New Albion you need to make sure you take it as your first action because I plan on setting up shop there for a while.
