Gnaw, when is Warfare (finally) going to played? Asking for a friend, obviously.

Speaking of Warfare. It looks like Mcaw executed a warfare secondary when they spent a CT on Logistics.

Yep, can't do that.

Crap. So you going to let me use the actual logistics secondary? Excuse me for getting them backwards.

I don't have an issue with it.

Out of curiosity, which Beta wormhole were you moving the cruiser to? The one by Blend or the one by Tatts and I?

Quann. Ships in a nebula have a movement value of 1.

That worries me. I'm hoping it's simply to discourage anyone else from coming through the wormhole rather than preparing to make a run at my homeworld. There are other things I'd like to do in that area of the map, so it's not immediately a problem for me if you take Quann, but depending on what your plans are, we may have to have a bit of discussion in a round or two.

They have a lot of actions available to them, so as many ships in as many systems I think. Plus stops anyone moving through the wormhole and adds threat to our side of the board.

Macaw - I forgot to include our SftT PN trade in my post, can you please do it in yours?

Also, I've got a plan for how we can do the swap of Lodd Eru/Mansa III and both get to claim the PO, while also allowing me to use Lodd Eru for the red tech like I wanted to, AND helps you out on the long run. I'd like to wait until it's my pick during the Strategy Phase to discuss, though, so as not to inspire those choosing before me to fuck up the whole plan. I think you'll like the plan, and if we can work it out, I'd be willing to promise my racial PN as a reward once we've worked it all out!

Give the neckro with huge production war suns in exchange for 1vp...

That will never end badly.

I mean, there are a whole lot of other reasons as well. They're my neighbour, and, frankly, there are a lot of war-like races out there this game. I'd rather be friends with the Nekro than having them sniping at my sides all game, particularly now that I'll have Nom on my ass all game as is. And I think that if Macaw trust me, then they can worry about screwing with the rest of you, which helps them in that I won't be sniping their sides either.

And frankly, if you're all so worried about the Nekro getting their hands on War Suns, I'm not completely opposed to making some other deal. But I haven't heard a deal that I like more than getting the Nekro Antivirus AND doing planet swaps for VPs.

The Antivirus doesn't actually gain you anything when you're already giving them war suns, so it's more like just giving them war suns in exchange for doing planet swaps for VPs. Which since you're *both* getting the VPs, seems rather one-sided if you ask me. If only you were borrowing the planet for VPs, then maybe I could see it.

I mean, it would prevent them getting War Suns II off me, or some other techs, which means I'll still have the slight edge of having better War Suns. And frankly, I don't see why the Nekro would ever give the Jol Nar their Anti-Virus. Squid is tasty!

I'll be really, really surprised if you actually get Prototype War Sun II this game. It's nice to have, of course, but given the planets around you and a probably persistent state of war with Nom / hard push to annihilate him quickly, you're going to be needing the economy or immediate military boosts of blue/green tech and/or cheaper unit upgrades, not tediously working your way up the red tech chain.

And then your other techs Macgnaw can get from others nearby (2 out of 3 Morgoth already has), so he's really not giving anything up by you having Antivirus.

Of course you can believe what you want to believe about my tech plans. You've basically been trying to make sure I don't bother researching War Suns II since before the game started - seems to me you're more worried about that than anything else. You've still not really offered me any reason not to keep the Nekro on my good side besides the fact that it would be a pain in the ass for the rest of you, though. Getting my hands on the anti-virus also keeps it out of the hands of others, which means that Macaw won't have to resort to looking at me in the future for tech. *shrugs*

Oh, wasn’t planning on taking it. Was wanting to park a cruiser there for this round to block that access point.

Blend, I scarcely care at all whether you research PWS II or not, nor whether you make friends with the Nekro or not. None of what I said above was about trying to persuade you into some sort of position that will benefit me. It was just open commentary. Frankly, you're so far across the galaxy I doubt we'll even interact much this game at all, and really if I was trying to sucker you into breaking a deal with Nekro for my own benefit it wouldn't make much sense for me to be so blatant in trying to extort Nekro myself, no? Unless this is supposed to be some kind of triple-reverse-psychology thing.

Got a call back for final interview for a cool job. Down to me and one other person. Of course the other person is an internal hire so...

Not letting that spoil the moment.

It occurs to me Twelve that if I get that, you’ll be the only ‘Murican in the game. And one of only three non-Commonwealth.

Blend is Canadian like D'rek? I keep getting him mixed up with Nico. I always think Blend lives in Arizona.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Yeah. Sorry. Was sick, baby is sick, wife is sick, work doesn't wait and I need to read through chat. My move is simple enough (play AC) but I need to look at the map to pick a planet for it.

I would be very interested in your Political Secrets PN - what would you like in return?

In this particular instance, seeing as how you know what’s coming? Don’t think so.

Understandable: the moment for that trade was for the Speaker token, which I rushed (or, more nefariously, if I had initiated the PN trade for the cancelled TG one).
I fail to see what you'd want to do with PDS II, though :)

Ouch, hope you feel better!

If you just need a list of planets you can play it on, say what it is and someone will probably have time to get you a list together.

I do feel better! Given Plague's notorious reputation for wiping out entire 10-man garrisons, I felt I needed to make the decision myself.

Searching for Mellon on the map.

Bet you never thought you would be stalling so long for warfare :)

If he moves a carrier he can only move 1 fighter with it can't he? Or if he moves 2 carriers then nothing can go with them. It is only 2 ships that are moved.

I thought anything that could be carried also moved as per usual movement rules. So if he moved a carrier anything in it would move but unless infantry is already loaded into a carrier they can't move.
