In an amusing aside, because of the way I excitedly squeaked the name this morning on receiving the email, Mr Not A Blacksmith thought the title was "Pea Stalks"

Did you order from Amazon? My estimated delivery date is 21st which is outrageous so I'm also going to buy the book on Kindle, I don't want to wait that long!!

Just downloaded. I'm in the middle of Reapers Gale but I might have to take a short break..
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Here's my issue...this and BATTLE GROUNDS were clearly split in twain...as such, do I read what is essentially the first half, or do I wait till Sept and double team them both one after the other....

It's kinda short, but there's a ton of action. I have finished it already. I think I'd do the same thing in reading now and waiting a couple months for the other half.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Yeah, that was the way I was leaning when I saw it come in and saw the page count...if I wait till September, I'll be reading an epic like 600pg Dresden...so I'm definitely leaning to wait. It's not that long till then.

It would be awesome to wait and read it as one big tome.

But the chances that there is more Dresdencrack out and I’m going to be able to put off reading it? None.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Avoiding spoilers for that long too would be a chore...

Is it? I don't go anywhere else where there might be spoilers and the ones here would be on a thread I'd simply avoid.

Seems easy enough, and it's just over 2 months off.

Fortunately here it is easy to avoid spoilers.

I find Reddit a pain in the ass for spoilers...

Also I was listening to a podcast in the shower this morning and they already had a spoiler section for Peace Talks, like WTF? Jumped out and switched it straight off.

What is the appropriate thread for discussion of the book that includes spoilers?

I'm thinking I may join QT in waiting for this one. Looking at some of the comments here I'm confused as heck about who people are and where they're up to in the story.

That basically gives me a few months to reread the whole series :D

I'd wait.

I enjoyed it, but I feel I've wasted it a bit as I'm halfway through another book.
So I feel a bit guilty about the speed I went through it; I could definitely have done with rereading the previous one.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.
