So I hold votes from IH, Morgoth, Nom, Tatts and D'rek and I likely have an interest in the outcome of the crown objective. But I'm not doing any dealings regarding that until Gnaw and Tatts sit their asses down and work out a deal with me. Gnaw has been mostly absent since his Kamakazi on my homeworld so this will likely hold up thinges even more.

So Tatts, To let bygones be bygones I propose as your first action be to vacate every unit but a destroyer from Thiabah and you give me Gnaw's ceasefire and your political secrets pn and also agree to not cross past the west border of that system extended North without negotiating in advance. In return I'll let by goes be bygone, not move east of traded system without permission along with my ceasefire pn.

Gnaw for lasting peace I require Everra and the Meer system returned, pds fire across that border be turned off no crossing east of the border without permission first. I'll agree to let bygones be bygones, not cross the western border without permission and agree to help Tatts score the Crown objective for a fair price. I believe that was your goal for the remainder of the game as well.

I know my price is a bit high but very fair and reasonable to not hold a grudge. Feel free to counter but the only way I'm willing to ignore you 2 and still allow Tatts a shot at winning is if all 4 planets are vacated for me to take. That part of the deal is not negotiable.

That said, the agenda affected Nom, Tapper, Gnaw and D'rek with you standing the most to gain. I thought i'd remove that aspect from the agenda phase. Fingers crossed it doesn't bite me in the arse.

Hmm, so according to one thread on boardgamegeek, I would not immediately cede the card to Tapper. I would only cede the card should a planet in my home system be taken (again) after gaining the card. This is interesting.

I'm skeptical. It's not "if a player invades a HW planet", it's just "gain control" which Tapper has already done.

Even if it doesn't immediately go to Tapper, all he would need to do is do one tactical activation in that system, doesn't even need to lift up an infantry and put it back down. And ain't nobody getting to Jord.

I'm sceptical too, I'll find the link. Suffice to say, this is a pretty niche case.

But I think you're wrong on the rest. I think Tapper would have to lose control and regain control, not simply activate.

The first batch of responses in that thread are all in regard to "you can still get VP from Agenda cards even if you don't have your homeworld", rather than answering it about Crown of Emphidia specifically.

Logically/thematically it makes so little sense though. You found this prestigious ancient artifact and send it to be on display in your occupied homeworld, and Tapper can't get the VP for controlling it until he moves his forces away and then reconquers the planet to steal it? For that matter, there's nothing in the text about losing the VP if the law were repealed, but I think that's a self-evident omission. The text on these things is not always perfect.
