@IH:

Your 6 trade goods in exchange for not taking Bereg-Lirta from you. Apologies, at the start of this round I was all set on taking Arinam-Meer, mostly just to help out Twelve, but then he went and played Diplomacy on it. So now it's Bereg-Lirta.

Haha, nice try Khell but fuck off, your fleet is nowhere near scary enough to pull off such an audacious piece of blackmail. I'm more than happy to chew my fleet up (which I'm pretty sure is the largest on the board) fighting you, I might not win but I'll certainly fuck up any chance you have of winning.

I might have listened to a reasonable offer, but 6 TG?? Dream on.

It's actually one less tg then I'd have available for taking the planets, so seems reasonable to me. And you seem to be under the misapprehension that I'm actively trying to win the game.

Anyways, as usual, I'll be moving on from Bereg-Lirta at some point next round. If you feel like chasing me around the map, that's your choice.

I'm not enjoying this game as much as the last one. I think it's the fact that I make someone mad every time I make a move.

I did that with the Nekro, though I guess I was far more discriminate in my choice of targets. Though to be fair, I doubt IH is angry at you for attacking him per se. Rather he seemed a little offended you'd offer such a terrible deal. Space Ghosts have no skin you know, insults go straight to the core.

Game map has been updated to the end of Khell's turn.

D'rek, am about to upload your new race sheet as well seeing as I forgot to do that last night.

Personally I'm definitely enjoying following your gameplay

There was always room for negotiation had he tried. But I'm not going to put in my post 'oh by the way I can be negotiated down', just in case the original deal is accepted. It was a harsh offer, certainly, but still better I think than potentially being bogged down in fighting me, losing a space dock you've only just built, and having to expend a move retaking the planets later on. And he'd have had them next round to exhaust (potentially twice with Diplomacy).

I think I'm just more attuned to playing turtley races in these types of games, so it's surprising that I'm yet to pick that kind of race.

Okay twelve, how would you like to coordinate against Gnaw? Obviously I'm not going to move against him in full force unless the Null Field is exhausted or he has no token to spend on it.

And if this happens and is successful, I expect you to be in my debt for the rest of the game.

Yup, you gotta make the hardball offer expecting to have it laughed at the first couple times until the cogs start doing the math on the 3rd or 4th time.

D'rek before we get further into a pointless war over mansa 3, I'm clearing out back through the wormhole next turn.

You say that, but you let Morgoth block the Beta wormhole and Gnaw is blocking the Alpha wormhole nearest you, so this seems a bit iffy even if you had an Unexpected Action card. Can you be more specific?

Mallice I would guess. But surely he meant next round rather than turn, otherwise what was the point?

I appreciate the thought but with Gnaws racial tech I needed someone to hit him as their first action in a critcal location for it to be helpful. I would love to have assistance this next round though. My sftt is still available to whoever can take out any of his hexes with multiple ships or take and hold his home world.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I already can't win so my plan already was to help you win even before this. Frankly I need breathing room. But with my limited actions I cant be the one to pop his Null field. I'd need you to attack him to force his null field and then I can make a move on Everra. But I also have to worry about Tatts to, so I need my flagship before I even try to fight back. Having a ship with number of attacks based on number of enemy ships will be the only way I have a chance of surviving to help you out.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Finally got a look at the map. I didn't realize where berg was located. From where its located you can hit multiple of Gnaws systems so if he cancels one you just attack another. He is guaranteed to be hit hard once by you.

You make it sound like I have an infinite number of moves :p He'll pop Null only against certain targets I reckon, like his homeworlds, but to look like I can actually take those I would probably need to move in a large fleet. If I do that then I'd need to be compensated (at some point) for the 'wasted' action, as it's imperative for me to be constantly moving.

Let's see what agendas come up and then work out a concrete plan of action after.

I guess I could possibly be persuaded to add a cruiser or two to aid in your efforts in some way

Just being able to pillage Tatts would be appreciated. He is the trade hub of the galaxy so being neighbors with him would be worth the effort
