In munich there was a place, jagermeister hostel. It had augustiner on tap, a mass of the stuff for 2 euro on happy hour. Awesome shit.

Munich biergartens are awesome. Berlin is generally just an awesome big city. Worth mentioning that the Berlin underground club scene is fantastic. I haven’t been there in a while but am told the basics haven’t changed and you’ll need an ‘in’.... are you allergic to latex, pretzels, or eagle semen?

I spent an evening in Munich few months ago and was underwhelmed to be honest, luckily I wasn't there for the culture.
Anyway I wanted to say anyone visiting Munich has to check out Dachau concentration camp, it lies just beyond the city they've made of it a museum and it's really really well done but very overwhelming. If you wanna go through the whole thing and pay attention to every detail you'd have to spend many hours in there, and by that time all the horrors you read about will have made you sick enough to not be capable of feeling anything anymore.
