Youtube videos not embedding

I've noticed lately that when I post a youtube link, it doesn't embed itself on the site.

Normally you can just post the link (with out the s in "https") and the site auto embeds the video. No need to use the media tags. Now, it doesn't work with or with out the media tag.

Is it youtube or did something change in the forums bowels?

I think you need the 's' in HTTPS, due to the forums being HTTPS

No. Before, if you did include the s it wouldn't embed.

However I just tested it with the s and that works as well now.

So I don't know what the hell is going on.

The difference appears to be the letter "S", right?

Therefore, by TV and movie logic, the answer must lie with Silencer.
