I note the Complete Published Works section lists a "Kharkanas Trilogy" ...
"Fortune favors the bold, though statistics favor the cautious." - Indomitable Courteous (Icy) Fist, The Palace Job - Patrick Weekes
"Well well well ... if it ain't The Invisible C**t." - Billy Butcher, The Boys
"I have strong views about not tempting providence and, as a wise man once said, the difference between luck and a wheelbarrow is, luck doesn’t work if you push it." - Colonel Orhan, Sixteen Ways to Defend a Walled City - KJ Parker

Ugh, that sure is a modern website.
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

The entry to bk 3 is 'coming soon'.
Wouldn't overthink it, they have to include something and 'tbd/not sure/hopeful' would be more odd.

Feels exceptionally Squarespace-ish....without working entirely like Squarespace?
I can't find a design link, so it's hard to guess at it...but yes, it feels like a new corporate business portal, as opposed to an SFF author website.

I like how empty his calendar on there is because it means he's busy writing!
I bet if we could look at GRRM's calendar it'd be full of events and appearances.
Could be why one author's written tons of books over the last few years and the other has written one.

yeah but when your one book (and associated multimedia rights) makes you enough cash to do a reasonable impression of Scrooge McDuck swimming in his money bin, I'll bet you don't give a fuck.
And ugh, I just went visual on GRRM swimming in a huge bin full of money. Whales are graceful, dammit!
At least he still had his hat on.

HA thanks for that mental image...
You're right but there still should be some amount of respect and loyalty to the fans who made you so rich in the first place. You kind of owe them for your success and you'd think he'd get some joy out of giving the fans what they want.
I know he's old and probably doesn't care but still it's been years now.
