I'll be solo 9th as having the max sounds like it could be fun/crazy, unless yet another pops up wanting to play, in which case I'm happy to pair up.

Funnily enough, the real maximum of the game is actually 6 (in TI3 it was 8) but I'm cheating


We'll wait for Nom to check in and comment, but I'm thinking Nom+Gnaw and Khell as 9th sounds like the best option at the moment?

It would take forever.

Plus with larger maps and newer players the build-a-map minigame tends to always make maps with all the empty space around Mecatol Rex. I'm optimistic that a modified preset map will grant more incentive (but not outright require) for players to approach the middle of the board more readily, without being imbalanced.
