So... I recently had a bit of extra money, so I bought the actual board game. I haven't played it with other people yet, but I played it against myself just to get a hang of it IRL, and I am super hopeful that I will find people who'll play this with me IRL. That being said, I still stand by the fact that once I figure it out, I will absolutely mod a game. Working on it now!

Yup. And if we're more or less happy with how the map turned out this time you can re-use my same custom hexes and just move everything around to a new map. Otherwise, I can help you make/adjust the custom hexes to suit what you want.

Yeah, this^^. Being able to drop all the different PNG files onto a canvas and move each of them around as distinct objects rather than managing a thousand layers and worrying about pixel overwrite is a must.

I used Inkscape, but any SVG editor you're comfortable with would work. I could send you my SVG file from this game and you could just modify it.

I am installing GIMP just to see what it's like. I haven't used many image modifying progs besides Photoshop or Illustrator. I was gonna do a bunch of layers in Photoshop to update the map. But if there's an easier way, I'll totally figure it out! I'm not, by any means, the most "tech savvy" guy, but I can usually figure out the basics!

And basically, I really wanna play again, and if that means I gotta MOD first, I am okay with that, it will help me learn more than I did just playing!

Ugh. Did not see that coming. I knew he was close with the moves he was making at the end though but thought he was going to do it next round. And everyone was saying I was going to win. I don't even think I will come in tied for third. And the two most experienced players come in at first and second. (I'm assuming Morgoth is able to get over 8 points.) That could work (or Hugin & Munin). Depends on how you want to run the game, it may or may not be useful/helpful.

Hugin & Munin would maybe work? I dunno, I just need to have the same access on the Game forum as PS has on the Mafia forum, I guess? I've been a Mafia mod for so long, I don't even really know how it works outside the Mafia forum. All I really need is to be be able to have more PMs than my reg account has, and to be able to edit anything in the game thread so I can fix TI4 game thread stuff. Whatever works best works for me!
