IH, given what Twelve just said why don't you move your ships from Wellon to Arnor/Lor including maybe ships and fighters from your home system, and I will move my ships and stuff from Abyz/Fria, as per Nico agreement, to Herrah VI.
Nico gets Abyz/Fria back and agrees not to pillage you anymore. Something like that. Nico you move that ship from the Creuss gate, I suggest to Mansa III.
Does this work for you guys?

I'd rather a ship get placed in the beta wormhole system to prevent either an escape route or a counter attack from Morgoths home world this round. If you put a ship there first I will stand them down.
I've got a slightly better idea, and the only way I can think of making things a bit more difficult for Morgoth now. How about I take out that cruiser in the asteroid field, and then next round move my ships out of there to Quann first thing, so that you can get to Jol-Nar easily without messing about with that cruiser? If I place a ship in the asteroid field and the empty space hex, that also blocks off Morgoth's retreat/reinforcement options.

I have no plans on Rex, told Gnaw this earlier. I assumed you'd be taking it as it is one way in which you can win. You have politics, you can give yourself speaker, take imperial, immediately scoring the winning VP's. If not then where you put the speaker token will be key here. IH could probably have a go at Rex.
To score the winning VPs, I need to get 6 between now and after playing Imperial. I am looking at 1, perhaps 2 this turn if I get a secret objective, which is by no means guaranteed.
So if I do go for a win through Imperial and Mecatol, it will be in 2 turns, not next turn.

I'm moving those cruisers my next action. They are needed to help fight Morgoth, you Know, the player primed to win the game next to Tapper who no one is even talking about attacking.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I was waiting for the two of you to move your ships so I don't have to worry about an attack. No plans to move on abyz/fria or Nico's homeworld as it would leave me to spread out, and I'm still nowhere near strong enough to hold what I have if pressured. Might move on Arnor lor, but twelve isn't the main threat really, much more concerned about gnaw holding rex for another turn, and morgoth. If you aren't taking rex I suppose I will have too, though Nico is in my way I can probably force him to retreat.

So funny these two posts close to each other. Where are you thinking of placing the speaker token Tapper? Can we arrange something were it goes to Nico? Like I can only take a certain strategy or something? I'd only take imperial, for example, if Gnaw can win via taking it. I don't know, you may have given it more thought than me.

That would probably work, but my very next action was to move my cruisers to destroy that cruiser which accomplishes the same thing and then we don't have mess with me waiting on you to move if I end up with a lower initiative than you. Putting a ship in the beta wormhole is a better move for me but you do you. It also give me the added benefit of if anyone attacks me they will immediately have to blow up a ship as I will have 3 cruisers in 1 spot.

Arnor/Lor is well within your grasp but Mec Rex looks like it is too far away. I was thinking strategically.
If you can take Mec Rex then it depends what with, as Gnaw cannot move out of Dal Bootha/Xplace, Tapper has only 1 tactical action remaining and so does Twelve.
Twelve says he is moving those cruisers, so it could be him you face but I was assuming he was moving them on the asteroid field to move morgoth.

what does this mean?
Twelve will have assault cannons which means if he has 3 ships in a hex anyone in battle with him will have to destroy one ship at the start of the battle.

I didn't realise that you were thinking of leaving Arnor-Lor undefended. Okay, I'll leave the asteroid field to you. The reason I'm currently hesitant to place a ship in Quann is because that would mean that Morgoth would have to stop in my system before getting to you if he's coming from Mordai II - and I already have few systems left as it is

I'm now thinking of just throwing away the rest of my actions on pointless moves. At least that way I will obviously have nothing to play for in the next round and you can give me the Speaker token so that Morgoth goes last in picking strategy. I'll take whatever card those who can't win next round think best to take.

Twelve, I'm going to move a single fighter to the empty space hex. If you don't blow it up, then I will take on any force that Morgoth sends against your cruisers in the asteroid field (should he do that and win the battle), either beating or whittling him down for you. If that happens and I end up winning, I'll move the remaining ships out of the asteroid field next round.

Nah, there's no way I could take/hold them should it come up, everyone would just batter me. I don't have the fleet/resources to keep anything. I am officially throwing in the towel and chucking my remaining command tokens down the drain this round. I made a really stupid error and now I'm going to do what Sol humanity does best - be really dumb.

Ah come on, what is with you people being all "I'm gonna chuck away my game" anytime you mess something up? I've been fucked over many times, by myself and by others, and I'm still actively playing and having fun. If you don't think you can win, then do what you can to fuck with other people's games, particularly if those people have fucked with your game previously! It'd certainly be more interesting than just throwing it all down the drain and stuff cause you're angry.
