Not without firing, no. I could announce retreat in the first round but i'd lose ships either way. Hm, moving in the first round is not ideal for me by any means. I can move everything but one cruiser this round, and allow you to destroy the last one, on the condition that if it produces a hit you sacrifice a fighter or something. I make a sub optimal move, lose a cruiser but gain a technology, and you get to take the system.

Tatts, are you seriously going to consider Morgoth taking a tech from you like Wormhole Generator or Dimensional Splicer or anything he wants just from destroying one of your fighters? I mean, are you fucking serious that you want Quann so badly (which you won't even take, trust me on that), that you will make Morgoth even stronger? He frames it like he's doing you a favour, but he really isn't.

I didn't plan on giving Morgoth a tech to be honest, but with one ship how likely is that?

What? You don't get a choice! He destroys at least one ship in combat (and he will destroy one of your fighters) and he gets to take a tech of his choice.

Then you come here, having made Morgoth much stronger, and try to take Quann, for which no action card will help you, if that's what you're thinking.
