How are you enjoying the coolest race by the by? I doubt Creuss tops the lists of most overpowered races or anything, but I find I enjoy playing them more than any other race. At least in third edition.

I agree with you that disarmament strips defenses from planets, making planetary invasions easier. On the other hand, it also strips players of invading forces and forces them to produce them first.

I'm really enjoying them, they have so many options. I think all the fun stuff will come in later rounds when WG is available and people start moving in on each other.

True, but if this game is anything like 3rd edition, there's a lot of potential objectives that are tech related. We two are poorly placed to claim those, and so find ourselves at a disadvantage compared to the more peace and defence focused races.

The planet Creuss was dying. Food, water and life, all at a critical level. Governments in the various cities cried for help, they needed a solution. Up stepped Zed. Zed was the most gifted mind of his age, he already knew that the planet would die, that people would be no more. Some people called him crazy Zed with the things he came out with. He called upon the people of Creuss to unite and die for the good of their race. They laughed at him but he knew without intervention his beloved race would be extinct. He poisoned the last Well of Damayus with a Life Beginning concoction that enabled him to kill everyone yet not kill anyone. For this concoction was what created the Ghosts of Creuss. It enabled them to live on without the need for food and drink. Instead they felt that they would expand out into the Universe, looking for something that they never knew they wanted. To rule the Universe. They visited neighbouring planets discovering new technologies and new friends. They became something more, and in doing so had a lot to thank Zed for. They gave him the title Glactic Zed and erected a massive monument in his name outside Creuss.
