Am open for negotiation if Twelve really doesn't agree with it, but from what I am reading the deal I am paying Twelve to not go through with is to give you the PN and not PDS fire at you.

I think that what I am suggesting is almost the same while having a bit of actual benefit to myself, and for 6 TGs, I think it is well worth it.

Also last time I bought the PN it cost me 4 TGs, so yeah, for 6 I don't think it is unreasonable to ask for the PN in addition to ensuring his PDS fire still cover my systems where possible.

The difference being you may need to research 3 other techs before researching assault cannons, so depends which tech you take. Assault cannons to someone without red tech is the equivalent of at least 12 resources. So on so forth.

This is substantially different than what I thought the offer for backing out of the deal with Tapper was in the first place. Still a good offer and one I would accept if I hadn't worked out a deal for the PN already. I

Agreed. Still a very good offer, but not as awesome as I initially thought, and I would accept Blends offer if we hadn't already worked something out. I would, in consideration of my good neighbor, like to make one further addendum to our deal and that is in regards to the PDS fire. As in if your ships come within their range they will be fired upon. I won't use Graviton Lasers on them (As I try and save them for defense of my own systems anyway) If that requires me to honor some or all of the five committed votes from our previous arrangement I would put that back on the table. And based on the map that should only be the wormhole hex.

I think you are underestimating what I could and couldn't do. If I wasn't paying you for the research I could be spending that on getting access to whatever technologies in some other way.

I am not that far away from being able to get that Assault Cannon tech without your help so yeah....

Anyway, I was really hoping for you to not give the research PN to Tapper. It hasn't come around to my turn to refresh commodities yet. I could pretty easily just not refresh them, hold those 6 TGs hostage so to speak...
