I'm good with that, that was the original plan. We got a little off tracks trying to decide what to do with waiver players.

Heres the 2 ideas I like, feel free to chime in.

1) Only keep drafted players.

2) Lose the round in their ADP when we start our draft.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Soooo? I prefer you lose the round your keeper is in.

It seems balanced more than "name a player you got and you get him. Let's draft!"

Lose the round he was drafted in last year or his ADP for the upcoming year?

Undrafted players?

Round you drafted. If undrafted, last round.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

If that's what the majority wants, then it's fine with me - just get ready for tyranny of Alvin Kamara's owner.

Whoever picked up Alvin Kamara(including me, but not smart enough to hang on) should be rewarded. This inspires teams to take chances both in the draft, and on free agency.

To the person(s) able to pick up an Alvin Kamara, well good for him. EVERYONE had the opportunity to pick him up.

People get hurt. Keepers will get hurt.

I think if we let it play out under these rules the next 4 or 5 seasons should be fun.

There won't be enough players like that to offset the game balance. Even if one season has teams stacked, it should even out over average time.

We go into this season getting a second keeper. It's important that the draft order from last year is reversed.

Also, someone was unsure of what it means to keep say a 4th rounder, which means you lose your 4th round pick.

BUT not in the way this person thought. All that happens is that when round 4 comes around, you don't get to draft a player, instead this is when Ben would insert your keeper pick.

I pick 2. If you can pick up a break out star then you should get the opportunity to keep him especially if he wasn't drafted.

Yeah, based on our draft from last year, not the ADP for the upcoming season.

There are far too many lists that vary even slightly. I like the decisiveness of last year. No room for question.

Important for me:

What's the deadline to choose?

Honestly have no idea what is best for me so just go with the consensus from everyone else. My players were trash last season.

I will probably choose Aaron Jones because he showed some brilliant flashes last year and was undrafted. I am not sold on Ty Montgomery as "the guy" in the Packers backfield.

Good strategy. Could be the best production for the ADP, considering you'd get him for a 14th round.

McCaffrey is going in most everyone's 2nd round this year. You got him in your 3rd. Might be a way to go.

We still have a couple months.

The draft order might determine some team's keeper.

My thoughts are by early July, because we usually draft at the end of July.

I like the strategy with this system.

I could go with my round 1 pick, D. Freeman in the first

K. Hunt in the 9th

or

A. Thielen in the 8th.

Hunt is the obvious pick, but he could get hurt.
Thielen will now have Cousins throwing to him and could end up being a bigger stud that either back.

I think having to choose your strategy based on losing the round of the player kept by inserting your keeper into that rounds pick is the best way to go.

I completely agree with that. Where we got off track is what to do with undrafted players.
