RAGE gave me bulletstorm vibes rather. A shooter with powers.

Now Bulletstorm, that's how a modern FPS should be done. See also Shadow Warrior reboot - I'm enjoying that way, way, wayyyyyyyyy more than I enjoyed Doom. Primarily because it's just stupid and doesn't try to dance around that fact.

As much as I'd love a Bulletstorm 2, I wonder if it'd actually need a sequel. Rage was fun - those rocket shotgun shells, oof.

They said that Starfield, their current project, will be a next generation game. Meaning Starfield won't be released for at least 2-3 years. If the predictions on console cycles is on point and Microsoft doesn't pull a rabbit out of its hat.

They then said that Elder Scrolls will be their next game after Starfield. Now, you should probably assume that Elder Scrolls is in pre-production, but realistically this means that the next Elder Scrolls is 4-7 years away.

That devolver conference was amazing. I don't know who their presenter is but her stage presence is phenomenal.

So far, the EA presentation was awful, the worst I've seen in a while. Microsoft's was good in places, but lacked punch. Bethesda's was great, they really seemed to connect with the audience and pulled out a few surprises and some good detail on upcoming games. Just started watching Devolver's - I want a Lootboxcoin!

I wonder if EA will have their Clone Wars adds for BFII actually on display or not (I know they've announced them already, but I'd like to see the sprites for Obi-Wan and Grievous...and also if Anakin is just a Vader skin with the same general powers, or if it's a whole new sprite with different force powers)?

Also, anyone know how much AC: ODYSSEY stuff we are going to get?

Other years I think Ubisoft have given us lengthy trailers and gameplay demos of AC. So I bet we get a lot of info. Assuming Odyssey isn't further out than we believe.

I don't even know what to expect from Square Enix. Only thing I am looking for is Tomb Raider or Marvel news. I doubt we get any Deus Ex or Thief surprises. A new Final Fantasy 7 remake video would be cool but that whole thing seems far off still.

Outside of that I just expect lots of Japanese stuff I don't care about.

Eidos Montreal is working on 3 games. Avengers, Tomb Raider and (supposedly) a Guardians of the Galaxy.

So maybe that.

Or, y`know, a super-secret team " Crystal dynamics working on an open-world Legacy of Kain game.

Okay Lara is looking like much more of a killing machine in this game. She's definitely channeling the predator here.

Edit: definitely play Rise. It might be the best game of 2015.
